Corey DeLoach is in his fifth season as a member of the Kutztown University football coaching staff in 2021 and oversees the Golden Bear running backs.
As a graduate assistant running backs coach in 2019, DeLoach helped KU lead the PSAC with 33 rushing touchdowns, while ranking second in rushing yards per game (176.4), total rushing yards (2,293) and average yards per carry (5.0).
Kutztown's 33 rushing touchdowns were a new single-season program record, while its overall rushing yard total ranked fourth all-time. The Golden Bears went 11-2, won the PSAC East title and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Division II Championship tournament in 2019.
Senior back Abdul-Hassan Neblett had an outstanding 2019 season under DeLoach's guidance, rushing for 1,059 yards and 12 touchdowns on his way to All-PSAC East First Team and Don Hansen Football Gazette All-Super Region 1 Second Team honors. Neblett posted the eighth-most rushing yards in a season in KU history and equaled Yorel Prosser for the seventh-highest single-season rushing TD total. Neblett also rushed for four TDs (tied for second-most in a game at KU) and 203 yards (10th-most in a game at KU) against Shippensburg, Oct. 26.
During the 2017 and 2018 seasons, DeLoach served as a student assistant wide receivers coach.
A native of Pittsburgh, Pa., DeLoach attended Plum High School, where he played quarterback and was a two-year letterman for head coach Frank Sacco. He began his collegiate career at Notre Dame College (Ohio) in 2013, before transferring to Kutztown.
DeLoach received his Bachelor of Science in business administration with a management focus from Kutztown in 2018.
