2015 (Game-by-Game): PSAC Scholar-Athlete & D2ADA Academic Achievement Award...Started at quarterback in all 11 games for KU in his redshirt-senior season. He recorded career-highs of 246 completions and 3,097 passing yards. Barton also threw 28 touchdowns and rushed for 270 yards. He threw for 300+ yards five times and had 2+ passing touchdowns in 10 games. Barton finished his career with 485 completions, 6,024 passing yards and 57 passing touchdowns, ranking him in the top-5 in school history in all three categories. ...Named All-PSAC East Second Team (11/19)...Threw for 316 yards and two touchdowns in a win over Clarion (11/14)...Recorded three touchdowns and 276 yards in a win over Lock Haven (10/31)...Named PSAC East Offensive Athlete of the Week (10/25)...Threw for 321 yards and four touchdowns. He completed 236-of-407 passes for 2,891 yards and 29 touchdowns with only eight interceptions. He threw for more than 300 yards in five games and threw 3+ touchdowns six times. Completed 30-of-53 passes for a career-high 403 yards and three touchdowns, while also rushing 10 times for 34 yards and a touchdown in a win over Clarion (11/15)...Threw for 340 yards and four touchdowns against Shippensburg (11/8)... Completed 16-of-30 passes for 219 yards and a touchdown and rushed eight times for 36 yards in a win over Lock Haven (11/1)...Completed 12-of-19 passes for 236 yards and two touchdowns in a win over East Stroudsburg (10/25)...Completed 19-of-32 passes for 148 yards and a touchdown against Bloomsburg (10/18)...Completed 15-of-31 passes for 145 yards and a touchdown against West Chester. His streak of consecutive passes without an interception ended at a school-record 162, dating back to the season-opener at Slippery Rock (10/9)...Completed 11-of-19 passes for 96 yards and two touchdowns and also rushed for 52 yards in a win over Millersville (10/4)...Completed 20-of-25 passes for 279 yards and four touchdowns in a win over Cheyney (9/27)...Completed 29-of-47 passes for 351 yards and three touchdowns against Gannon (9/20)...Completed 27-of-42 passes for 316 yards and a career-high five touchdowns with no interceptions while completing passes to seven different receivers against IUP (9/13)...Completed 33-of-64 passes for 358 yards and three touchdowns against Slippery Rock (9/6).
2013 (Game-by-Game):Â Named a PSAC Scholar-Athlete (7/3)...Appeared in three games for the Golden Bears. In a win over Millersville, he completed 3-of-4 passes for 36 yards, while also rushing two times for 11 yards (11/2).
