Waapu played in 20 games and started in 18 as a redshirt freshman, providing a spark on offense. She scored 12 goals and assisted on two more, finishing third on the team in scoring with 26 points. She had two game-winning goals and led the team with 70 shots. She scored two goals in a win over East Stroudsburg on Oct. 13 and again in a loss to Bloomsburg on Oct. 20.
