2011: Kangas played in 33 games and started in eight during her freshman year. She had a .154 batting average that included 11 runs, four hits, and one double. She helped KU to its ninth consecutive appearance to the NCAA Division II Atlantic Regional and win 40 or more games for its fifth straight season.
