Jeff Pinder

Jeff Pinder enters his fifth season as an assistant coach with the Kutztown University baseball team in 2019.
 
Pinder returned to KU in 2018 after previously serving as an assistant under KU from 2009-11. He primarily works with hitters and catchers.
 
Kutztown posted winning seasons in all three of Pinder's first three years at KU. KU appeared in two NCAA Tournaments and won a regional title in 2010. Following his initial stint at Kutztown, Pinder went on to be the hitting coach at Neumann University for four years from 2013-16.
 
Pinder spent two years as the Widener University hitting coach before first coming to Kutztown. He made an immediate impact in 2008, as Widener led the Commonwealth Conference in batting average, slugging percentage and home runs.
 
Prior to Widener, Pinder was the head coach at St. Pius X High School for three years. St. Pius X in 2006 won the District 1 AA District Title and went to the state semifinals.
 
He has also served as an assistant coach for the Boyertown American Legion Bears for three years. The Bears in 2007 advanced to the American Legion World Series and finished fourth in the country. Pinder has been involved in coaching baseball the past 20+ years at many different levels, including junior high school.
 
Pinder, who played baseball at Northampton County Community College, resides in Gilbertsville, Pa. with his wife, Liz and son Mitch, 20, who plays on the KU baseball team.
