2016 (Game-by-Game): Saito started in all 50 games played for the Golden Bears during her sophomore season. She was one of KU’s most solid spots in the field at second base, leading the team with 95 assists and recording 107 putouts with a career-best .981 fielding percentage. At the plate, Saito hit .209 with six RBI and seven runs scored. She was tied for third on KU with six hit-by-pitches...Hit an RBI single in a win over SHIP (3/25)...Went 1-for-2 with a run scored against Ohio Valley (3/12)...Finished 3-for-10 with four RBIs in the UNC Pembroke Invitational (2/5-2/6).
2015 (Game-by-Game): Saito started in 47 of her 48 appearances at second base for the Golden Bears during her freshman season. She batted .211 with 20 runs scored, a home run and 14 RBI. She led the PSAC with 20 sacrifice bunts, fourth-most in single-season school history, and ranked third in Division II with 0.42 sacrifice hits per game.
