Biography
2016 (Game-by-Game): Started in 10 of her 20 games played for KU during her freshman campaign. Engler recorded three goals and two assists during the season...Posted an assist in a victory over Bloomsburg in the PSAC playoffs (11/1)...Tallied a goal in a win over Pitt-Johnstown (10/25)...Notched a goal in a win over Gannon (10/18)...Scored her first career goal as a Golden Bear in a victory over Clarion (10/8)...Posted her first career assist in a win over Holy Family (9/26).
Williamstown: Engler was a four-year varsity letterwinner at Williamstown High School. She was her team's Offensive MVP in 2015 and was a three-time All-Conference and All-State First Team selection. As a sophomore in 2013, she was also named All-South Jersey. She was an honor roll student who will begin her KU career as an exploratory studies major.
From the Coach: "Ashley has very good pace, she can strike a ball extremely well and is a very attack-minded player. Technically she is very comfortable on the ball and can beat players off the dribble and create goal scoring opportunities for herself and her teammates."
