Biography

Career Highlights (Career Statistics): Edwards became the 22nd 1,000 point scorer in KU history.  He concludes his career as KU's ninth most leading scorer in school history.  He scored 1,296 points in his four years at Kutztown.  He also had 199 steals, good for third on the KU leaderboard.  He scored his 1,000th point on Dec. 31 in KU's win over the University of the Sciences.
 
2011-12 (Game-by-Game):
Edwards started in all 27 games for the Golden Bears in his senior season.  He averaged 18.1 points per game, good for second on the team and fourth in the PSAC.  He scored a career-high 29 points three times, including back to back games against Sciences (Dec. 30) and Edinboro (Jan. 6).  He led the team in scoring 12 times and scored more than 20 points in 14 games including a string of five straight from Dec. 4 to Jan. 6.  He was also third in the conference in free throw shooting.  His 146 free throws made are fifth on the KU single-single leaderboard, and his 85.9 percent is good for fourth.  He was perfect at the charity stripe in 11 games and made a career-best 15-of-18 in KU’s win over California (Pa.) on Dec. 9.  Edwards grabbed a team-high 56 steals and finished second in the PSAC (2.1).  He also dished out 62 assists.  He was named the PSAC East Athlete of the Week on Dec. 12 for a pair of 25-point games against California (Pa.) and Indiana (Pa.).   Kutztown won a share of the PSAC Eastern Division title and won a school-record 15 conference games.  It advanced to the playoffs for the tenth consecutive season and hosted a playoff game against East Stroudsburg as the No. 1 seed.

2010-11 (Game-by-Game): Edwards saw action in 23 games and made 21 starts. His 12.1 point per game average was second on the team. He led KU in scoring five times. Edwards scored in double figures 14 times. He scored a career-high 27 points on 9-of-18 shooting against University of the Sciences. Edwards made the game-winning 3-pointer against West Chester. In addition to his 27-points at USP, Edwards also scored 21 points against WCU and 20 against Cheyney. Edwards was third on the team with 49 assists. He averaged 3.5 rebounds. Edwards made 22 3-pointers and made a season-high six against USP. He had five games in which he finished with four or more assists. He had a season-high six assists at West Chester. His 34 steals were second on the team.
Honors: All-PSAC East second team.
