2010-11: Played in 19 games and made seven starts. He scored a season-high eight points against Penn State-Berks (Nov. 20). He also had three games in which he scored seven points: Philadelphia (Nov. 13), University of the Sciences (Dec. 4) and Slippery Rock (Jan. 4). DeShields grabbed a season-high five rebounds (Dec. 4). DeShields averaged 2.3 points per game and 1.5 rebounds per contest.

2009-2010: Started in 11 of 28 games he played and averaged 3.9 points…He scored a career high 13 points in 22 minutes against Clarion in the PSAC semifinals (3-5-10)…DeShields went 8-for-8 from the foul line against Millersville (2-13-10)…He also scored 12 points against East Stroudsburg (2-15-10). …He was second on the team in free throw percentage at 76.9 (30-for-39)…He pulled down a career-high six rebounds against UDC (12-9-09). …Grabbed at least five rebounds in a single game five times. …DeShields scored eight points against UDC (12-22-09).
