Career Highlights: Smith played two seasons with the Golden Bears.  For his career, Josh had 1,278 receiving yards on 87 catches. Smith’s 23 career touchdowns tied a KU school-record for career touchdowns.

2011 Highlights: Smith played in every game in his senior season.  He had 35 catches for 582 yards and 11 touchdowns.  He had a career high 144 yards and three touchdowns in the victory over Bloomsburg on Nov. 5.  His seven catches against Lock Haven on Sept. 17 were a season-best.  The Golden Bears won a school-record 11 games in 2011 and won their first PSAC Championship. Kutztown was the No. 3 seed in the NCAA Division II Super Region One playoffs and advanced to the second round.

2010 Highlights: Started every game and made an immediate impact in his first season from the University of Pittsburgh. He finished the season as the Golden Bears’ second leading receiver with 52 catches for 696 yards. He averaged 13.4 yards per catch and had 12 touchdown catches. He had a memorable effort against Mercyhurst in which he caught six catches for 109 yards and three touchdowns. He also caught two touchdowns against Lock Haven, Shippensburg, and Shepherd. Smith had eight catches for 105 yards and a touchdown against Gannon. Smith also caught eight passes against Shepherd. He had a season best 46 yard catch against Bloomsburg. The Golden Bears set school records for wins in a season (10), PSAC East wins (six), points scored (466), and most consecutive wins to begin the season (nine). Kutztown was the No. 1 seed in the NCAA Division II Super One Regional playoffs.
