2018 (Game-by-Game): Played in 17 games, making three starts in her first collegiate season...Finished with eight shots, four being on goal...Had one shot in the 2-1 victory over Millersville (9/12)...Recorded one shot on goal in her first collegiate game in the season-opening 1-0 win vs. Charleston (8/30).
Monroe Township: Liebenthal was a four-year letter-winner in three different sports at Monroe Township. She was a three-time All-Division and two-time All-Conference honoree, and a 2017 NJGSCA Top-20 State Central Regional player. Liebenthal was the leading scorer for Monroe Township, which won the 2016 divisional championship. She was also a sectional javelin champion, and placed first at Nationals in javelin, while holding four school records. Liebenthal is a four-year honor roll student and will major in Biology at KU.
From the Coach: "Gennyka has all the tools and ability to be an exceptional player at this level. She is fiercely competitive, has a tremendous work rate, is incredibly athletic, has great pace and is very good technically. Combine all of this with her ability to consistently win physical battles and you have a player who is an absolutely perfect fit in the PSAC. Versatile enough to play up front, or in the midfield, Gennyka is a quality player with the ability to be effective in a number of roles within our system."
