2008 Highlights: Evans was named the team's most improved player on defense in the spring of 2008. He started in all 11 games for the 2008 season, leading the team in total tackles with 74 and a team leading 50 solo tackles. Evans broke up three passes, forced two fumbles and had one tackle for loss.

2008 Top Performances: vs. Millersville (11 TT#, 7 UT#, TFL#) vs. Slippery Rock (11 TT#, 7 UT#) vs. Clarion (8 TT, 6 UT, 1 FF#)

2010 Highlights: Saw action in every game and finished as the second leading tackler on the team with 87 tackles. He also finished the season with three pass breakups. Evans had a season-high 12 tackles against Bloomsburg and then had 11 stops against Gannon. Evans led KU with nine tackles in the game against Saint Anselm. He had eight tackles against Mercyhurst and West Chester. He recovered two fumbles, one each in games against C.W. Post and Bloomsburg. Evans also blocked a field goal. The Golden Bears set school records for wins in a season (10), PSAC East wins (six), points scored (466), and most consecutive wins to begin the season (nine). Kutztown was the No. 1 seed in the NCAA Division II Super One Regional playoffs. Honors: all-PSAC East first team. Honors: all-PSAC East first team kicker and punter.
