Hempfield: Ackerman was a three-year varsity letter-winner at Hempfield. She was a Lancaster-Lebanon League Section I All-Star in 2015 and led the team to a Sectional and League Championship in 2014. She was also a two-time ASL All-Tournament Team selection. She was a four-year honor roll student.
