Biography

2011 Game by Game Statistics

 

Career: A four-year member of the Golden Bears, Dugan played in 181 games and started in 171.  He had a career batting average of .337, and is ninth on the KU all-time hit list with 192.  He is also the KU all-time leader in sacrifice hits (17).  Dugan had eight home runs in his career with 112 runs batted in and 30 stolen bases.

 

2011:   Dugan started in right field in all 39 games in his senior season with the Golden Bears.  He batted a career-high .369 at the plate and was second in the PSAC with a .380 average in conference play.  He knocked in 22 RBIs with 34 runs scored and had a team-high 52 hits.  He also led the team with 19 multi-hit games and ended the season on a season-high 10 game hitting streak.  Dugan had 11 doubles and used his speed to earn a pair of triples and 10 stolen bases.  He also batted .405 (17-for-42) with two outs and .383 (18-for-47) with runners in scoring position.  He had a season-high three RBIs against Lock Haven on Feb.17.  He also had three games where he had three or more hits (3/5 vs. West Liberty; 3/26 vs. Shippensburg; 4/14 vs. Wilmington).

 

Honors: PSAC East First Team


2010: Dugan set career-highs in nearly every offensive category and was named to the PSAC East first team. He finished with a .359 batting average. He had 66 hits with eight doubles, five home runs, 47 RBIs and 49 runs scored. Dugan had 16 multi-hit games, including a 5-for-5 effort with three RBIs and home run in a win over Bloomsburg. Dugan had four three-hit games this season. He was also 11 for 11 in stolen bases. Honors: PSAC East first, Atlantic Region all-tournament team and NCBWA Atlantic Region honorable mention. 

2009: Dugan started in 40 games and appeared in 44, batting .314 (38-for-121). He had five doubles, two home runs, 24 RBIs and scored 25 runs. He was third on the team in stolen bases with nine. In the field, he had a .955 fielding percentage and recorded 83 putouts.

2008: Dugan batted .290 while starting in 39 games and playing in 43. He hit five doubles, two triples and a homer. Dugan drove in 19 runs and scored 22.
