2016 (Game-by-Game): The standout linebacker started in all 11 games for the Golden Bears in his redshirt-sophomore season. Jefferson was an All-PSAC East Second Team selection and posted 80 total tackles (21st in PSAC), including nine tackles-for-loss. He also recorded seven pass breakups (13th in PSAC) and an interception. He recorded 70 or more tackles for the second consecutive year in Maroon and Gold...Posted 10 tackles against California (PA) (11/12)...Recorded seven tackles and broke up a pass in a win over Shippensburg (10/29)...Notched his first career interception in a win over Lock Haven (10/22)...Broke up two passes and recorded four tackles in a win over Bloomsburg (10/8)...Recorded a team-high 11 tackles and half a sack in a win over West Chester (10/1)...Posted a team-high eight tackles and a sack in a win over Millersville (9/24)...Recorded seven solo tackles and two tackles-for-loss against Seton Hill (9/17)...Posted six total tackles and a sack against Mercyhurst (9/10)...Recorded a career-high 12 tackles (6 solo, 6 ast) in the season-opener against Assumption (9/3).
2015 (Game-by-Game): Named the 2015 PSAC East Freshman of the Year
and to the All-PSAC East First Team. He and Shippensburg's Rich Nase were the first freshmen All-PSAC East First Team defenders since 2004. He started in all 10 of his appearances for KU in his redshirt-freshman campaign. He was second on the team with 70 total tackles and 3.5 sacks. His 70 tackles are the most by a KU freshman in the last 23 years. Jefferson was fifth in the PSAC with 16 tackles-for-loss
