2012 (Game-by-Game):

2011 (Game-by-Game):   Montz had a career season in his junior year.  He started in 35 of his 37 games played and led KU with a .389 average.  He had 42 hits with 24 runs scored and 23 runs batted in.  Montz also batted .447 (17-for-38) with runners in scoring position.  He led the team with 11 stolen bases in 13 attempts.  Montz had 10 multi-hit games and ended the season on a six-game hitting streak.  In a doubleheader at Mansfield on Apr. 10, Montz went 5-for-8 on the day with seven combined RBIs including his first collegiate home run.  He had a season-high four hits on Feb. 19 against Bloomsburg.
Honors: Daktronics All-Atlantic Region First Team

2010 (Game-by-Game): As a sophomore, Montz made 22 starts and saw playing time in 37 games. He finished the season hitting .260 (19-for-73) with 25 runs scored. Montz rose to the occasion in the PSAC title game with a two-out RBI single to tie the game in the top of the ninth inning.


2009 (Game-by-Game): Montz started in seven games and appeared in 21. He batted .250 (7-for-28). He had three RBIs and scored six runs. Montz also stole two bases and drew four walks.
