2016 (Game-by-Game): Amato started in all 48 of her games played for the Golden Bears during her sophomore season. She led the team in home runs (seven), RBIs (38) and total bases (83) and was third on KU with a .344 batting average. She went 53-for-154 at the plate with nine doubles (second on KU) and 26 runs scored (third). Her slugging percentage (.539) was second on the team while her on-base percentage (.372) was fifth. In the circle, Amato posted a 4-1 record with a 3.05 ERA in 10 appearances (six starts). She struck out 23 batters over 41.1 innings pitched and held her opponents to a .267 batting average. In the field, she recorded five putouts and 13 assists with a career-best .947 fielding percentage...Named to the NFCA All-Atlantic Region, D2CCA and All-PSAC East First Teams (5/3)...Batted 2-for-4 with two RBIs against Lock Haven in the PSAC Championships (4/29)...Went 1-for-4 with a run scored, a home run and four RBIs in a win over Gannon in the PSAC Championships (4/29)...Batted 1-for-3 with a run scored and two RBIs in a win over Nyack (4/19)...Went a combined 2-for-6 with a run scored in a doubleheader vs. ESU (4/16)...Drove in two runs and scored two runs in two victories over Shippensburg (4/10)...Hit a walk-off, RBI double in a win over Millersville (4/8)...Went 3-for-4 in a win over ESU (3/26)...Went a combined 3-for-6 with a home run, three RBIs and two runs scored in aÂ

2015 (Game-by-Game): Named to the 2015 NFCA All-Atlantic Region Second Team (5/14)...Amato started in 26 of her 39 games played for the Golden Bears during her freshman season. She led the team with a .367 batting average and .392 on-base percentage. She batted 36-for-98 with five home runs and 18 RBI, which both ranked second on the team. She also recorded five doubles and eight runs scored during the year. She recorded at least one hit in 26 games during the year and recorded multiple hits in eight games...Went 1-for-3 against IUP in the second round of the PSAC playoffs (4/30)...Batted 2-for-3 with a homer against Seton Hill in the first round of the PSAC playoffs (4/30)...Named to the
2015 All-PSAC East Second Team (4/29)...Batted 4-for-8 with a run scored in a doubleheader split against East Stroudsburg (4/18)...Went 2-for-4 with a home run against Bloomsburg (4/17)...Pitched nine innings of shutout ball and struck out six in a win over Chestnut Hill (4/15)...Batted 4-for-7 with two home runs, a double and three RBI against Shippensburg (4/14)...Went 2-for-3 with a run scored and a RBI in a loss to Shippensburg (4/14)...Named the PSAC East Athlete of the Week on April 13. She hit three-game-winners during the week, and batted .429 with seven RBI. Against Lock Haven, she went a combined 4-for-5 in the doubleheader. In game one, she belted a pinch-hit, game-winning three-run homer. To cap a 3-for-4 game two vs. LHU, Amato hit the walk-off RBI double. In game two against Bloomsburg, she drove in two of KU's three runs, including the game-winner in the third inning (4/13)...Went 2-for-3 with a run and an RBI in a loss to Lock Haven (4/6)...Batted 1-for-2 with a RBI in a doubleheader sweep over Goldey-Beacom (3/18)...Recorded an RBI in a win over Minnesota State Makato (3/11)...Batted 1-for-1 in a win over UNC Pembroke (2/6).
Coronado High School: Amato received Coronado Varsity Rookie of the Year, All-State pitcher Second Team, and All-Southeast Division First Team for three straight years. She also earned MVP, Southeast Division Player of the Year, All-State pitcher First Team, Gatorade NV Player of the Year Finalist, and RJ Player of the Year runner-up in 2012. In the conclusion of her 2013 season, she was named Softball West Magazine Best of the West Top 100 Players. This pitcher has helped her team win the Southeast Division Championship in 2011, and the Sunrise Region Championship in 2012. Â During her 2013 season, Amato had 106 strikeouts and four shutouts. At the plate, she had a .455 batting-average, including 13 home runs, and a .950 fielding percentage for her career.
