William Penn High School: Stewart was a three-sport athlete and was named all-conference as a senior, when she notched seven goals and five assists. Notably, she scored both goals in William Penn's 2-1 win over Wilmington Charter, who entered the game with an undefeated record. She played with the North Bay Field Hockey Club. Off the field, she received the Roe Bianchini Field Hockey Award, which is given to the player who "Demonstrates outstanding effort to better her team and plays the game of field hockey with intense emotion, resilience, and desire to win." She also received a senior leadership award during basketball season and a school leadership award for her work with the peers programs for physically and mentally challenged students.
