2015 (Game-by-Game): Played in six games for KU in his redshirt-freshman campaign. He recorded 16 total tackles, a pass deflection, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery. Barefield posted a season-high five tackles against IUP on Sept. 12 and West Chester on Oct. 10...Recorded five tackles against West Chester (10/10)...Tallied four tackles against Gannon (9/19)...Forced a fumble and recorded five tackles in a win over IUP (9/12).
