2018 (Game-by-Game): Started in 28-of-32 games played in her senior season, primarily as the catcher...Was third on KU with a .323 batting average in 62 at-bats...First in the PSAC with 12 hit-by-pitches, ending her career with 59, a KU and PSAC record...Finished with 20 hits and was second on KU with 16 RBI...Third in the PSAC with a .506 on-base percentage...Went 1-for-3 with three walks, two runs scored and an RBI on a senior day split with East Stroudsburg (4/26)...Finished 3-for-6 with an RBI in two wins over Shippensburg (4/21)...Homered for the second straight day, tallying a career-high five RBI, while recording her 100th career hit vs. West Chester (4/14)...Went 3-for-5 with a double and a home run, while adding three RBI and two runs scored in a doubleheader at East Stroudsburg (4/13)...Hit .500 (3-for-6), including hitting her first homerun of the season, while adding two RBI and two runs scored in a doubleheader vs. Millersville (4/6)...Finished 1-for-2 with an RBI vs. Hillsdale (3/10)...Had an RBI in a win against New Haven (2/16)...Went 1-for-1 with an RBI vs. Winston-Salem State (2/3).

2017 (Game-by-Game): Newman started in all 38 of her appearances as a junior. She led the team and ranked third in the PSAC with 13 hit-by-pitches, which was tied for fourth in KU's single-season annals.  She was also fourth on the team with six doubles, 13 RBI and a .355 on-base percentage. She batted .214 with 21 hits in 98 at-bats. In the circle, she was second on the team with a 5-4 record and 3.04 ERA as she threw 53.0 innings in 13 appearances, 10 of which were starts. In the field, she posted a .983 fielding percentage with just four errors in 232 chances...Recorded her fifth victory on the season against West Chester (4/14)...Picked up her fourth win on the season in a one-run performance against U. Sciences (4/11)...Tallied third win of the season in a victory over Millersville (4/8)...Finished 2-for-4 at the plate with two RBI in a victory over Felician (4/2)...Complete-game win over Dominican, allowing four hits and one run (3/17)...Four scoreless innings of relief at Florida Tech (3/15)...No earned runs, five strikeouts in a tough-loss to Rollins (3/14)...Notched an RBI-double in a win over UNC Pembroke (2/4).

2016 (Game-by-Game): Newman started in all 47 of her games played for the Golden Bears during her sophomore season.  She set the KU and PSAC record for hit-by-pitches in a single-season with 20 and tied the KU and PSAC career HBP mark with 34. Newman led KU in on-base percentage (.462), was second in home runs (five) and third in slugging percentage (.529).  She was also fourth on the team with 55 total bases. Newman hit a career-high .327 with 18 RBI and 16 runs scored. In the circle, she posted a 6-3 record with a team-low 1.99 ERA over 17 appearances (14 starts). She struck out 23 batters over 67 innings pitched and held opponents to a .262 batting average. In the field, Newman recorded 123 putouts, 44 assists and a fielding percentage of .976.  She threw out 6-of-17 (.353) base stealers from behind the plate...NFCA All-Atlantic Region Second Team (5/5)...Named to the All-PSAC East First Team (5/3)...Recorded a solo home run in a win over IUP in the PSAC Championships (4/28)...Threw a complete game, one-hit shutout with six strikeouts in a win over Nyack (4/19)...Batted 3-for-4 with four runs scored and a home run in a doubleheader sweep over Nyack (4/19)...Finished 2-for-3 with a home run and two runs scored in a victory over ESU (4/16)...Went 3-for-3 with two RBI in a win over Shippensburg (4/10)...Allowed one run in five innings and picked up the win over Millersville to improve to 5-1 on the year (4/8)...Went a combined 2-for-3 with an RBI in a doubleheader against West Chester (4/2)...Finished game one 1-for-2 with a solo home run in a doubleheader against Goldey-Beacom. Started game two and pitched four scoreless innings with two strikeouts to pick up fourth victory of the season (3/17)...Went 1-for-3 at the plate while throwing seven innings, allowing five hits and one earned run to pick up her third win of the season against Ohio Valley (3/12)...Finished 2-for-3 with two RBI while throwing seven innings of three-run ball to earn her second victory of the year against Wilmington (3/9)...Batted 2-for-2 with an RBI and two runs scored while throwing seven scoreless innings to collect first win on the year against Ashland (3/7)...Two-run single against Shepherd (2/28)...Went a combined 2-for-6 with a run scored in the UNC Pembroke Invitational (2/5-2/6).

2015 (Game-by-Game): Newman started in all 47 of her games played for the Golden Bears during her freshman season. She batted .256 with a home run, 13 RBI and five runs scored. She also hit nine doubles and recorded 14 HBP. She recorded at least one hit in 28 games and recorded multiple hits in five games...Went 1-for-3 against IUP in the second round of the PSAC playoffs (4/30)...Named to the 2015 All-PSAC East First Team, KU's first freshman to earn First Team honors since 2007 (4/29)...Hit her first career home run against Shippensburg (4/24)...Batted 2-for-3 with a run scored in a win over East Stroudsburg (4/18)...Went 2-for-3 in a win over Bloomsburg (4/17)...Pitched seven innings of shutout ball with three strikeouts in a win over Chestnut Hill (4/15)...Batted 2-for-3 with an RBI in a win over Shippensburg (4/14)...Finished 2-for-4 with an RBI in a loss to Lock Haven (4/6)...Went 1-for-2 with two RBI in a win over West Chester (4/4)...Went 1-for-2 with a walk in a win over Slippery Rock (3/10)...Hit a double in a win over Northern State (3/8)...Went 1-for-1 with a run scored in a win over Concordia-St. Paul (3/8)...Hit a double in a win over Findlay (3/7)...Went 1-for-2 with a walk in a win over Winston-Salem State (2/7)...Batted 1-for-3 in a win over Concord (2/7)...Went 1-for-3 against Coker (2/6)...Batted 1-for-2 with a run scored, a RBI and two walks in a win over UNC Pembroke (2/6).

Haverford High School: Newman was the Offensive Player of the Year in 2011. She earned All-Delco Second Team in 2012, All-Delco First Team and the MVP Award in 2013. She also helped her team win two Central League championships.
