2017 (Game-by-Game): Voted All-Atlantic Region Second Team by D2CCA (5/15)...Named All-PSAC East First Team and the PSAC East Pitcher of the Year (5/8)...NFCA Scholar-Athlete...Nierintz had one of the most accomplished seasons by a pitcher in KU history her senior season. She tied the school-record with three saves, while her 22 wins ranked fifth in the program's single-season annals. Her 25 complete games, 220.0 innings pitched and 188 strikeouts all also ranked in the top-five, while her six shutouts were in the top-10. She led the PSAC in strikeouts and saves and was second in wins in innings pitched. Her 1.88 ERA ranked fourth in the league, while her.228 opposing batting average was seventh. In total, she started in 29 of her 38 appearances in the circle and posted a 22-9 record. She allowed just 192 hits in her 220.0 innings and walked just 42 against her 188 strikeouts. Offensively, she recorded four hits and scored one run on the year...Allowed only one hit in a shutout over East Stroudsburg. She also picked up the victory in the following game for her 19th on the season (4/23)...Recorded her 17th victory while pitching six innings in relief against Shippensburg (4/15)...Tossed a complete-game shutout with 11 strikeouts in a win over Sciences (4/11)...Notched her 15th victory against Millersville (4/8)...Tallied her 13th and 14th wins in victories over ESU (4/5)...Recorded her 12th win as well as a save in two victories over Felician (4/2)...10 strikeouts and moved to 9-1 on season with eight-inning win over Bridgeport (3/17)...One allowed run in win over Philadelphia U. 2016 (Game-by-Game): Nierintz appeared in the circle 36 times for the Golden Bears during her junior campaign, with 25 starts. She posted a 19-12 record with a team-low 1.99 ERA and threw a career-high 21 complete-games with three shutouts. In 183.1 innings pitched, she struck out a team-leading 126 batters and held her opponents to a .227 batting average. Nierintz also recorded KU’s only two saves on the season. 2015 (Game-by-Game): Named to the 2015 Daktronics, Inc./Division II CCA Softball All-Atlantic Region First Team (5/11)...Nierintz started in 20 of her 27 appearances in the circle for the Golden Bears during her sophomore season. She led the East and was second in the PSAC with a 1.80 ERA, was third in wins with a 16-4 record, and was eighth in strikeouts with 96 in 143.2 innings. She threw 13 complete games and three shutouts. She allowed two runs or fewer in 21 of her 27 appearances...Named to the 2015 All-PSAC East Second Team (4/29)...Batted 1-for-3 with a run scored against East Stroudsburg (4/18)...Recorded her first save of the season against Bloomsburg, striking out one hitter in 0.2 innings (4/17)...Complete game shutout in a win over Bloomsburg (4/12)...Complete game shutout with four strikeouts in a win over Lock Haven (4/11)...Pitched a complete game and only surrendered one run in a win over West Chester (4/4)...Named the PSAC East Pitcher of the Week for the third time. In two complete games and one shutout, she held a 0.50 ERA with one earned run on the week to go along with 14 strikeouts and one walk (4/6)…Pitched a complete-game and only surrendered one run in a win over Mansfield (3/30)...Named the PSAC East Pitcher of the Week on March 23. During the week, she went 3-0 in the circle to improve to 10-0 on the year. She was KU's first pitcher to start 10-0 since 2012. In her three appearances (two complete games, one relief effort in 11-inning win over Millersville), she held a 0.40 ERA in 17.2 innings. 2014 (Game-by-Game): Nierintz appeared in 48 of Kutztown's 49 games at the plate and in the circle. Offensively, she batted .217 in her freshman season with 26 hits, two doubles and one triple. In the circle, she posted a 3.67 ERA and a 2-8 record in her first year. She started in 11 of her 17 appearances and pitched four complete games with one shutout. In 70.2 innings, she had 31 strikeouts with nine walks.
