2011 (Game-by-Game): Houck was a leader at the plate for the Golden Bears in his junior season. He led the team with 11 home runs and 19 multi-hit games. He batted .382 with 52 hits including 12 doubles. He also held a slugging percentage of .713 and an on-base percentage of .485. Houck batted .400 (18-for-45) with runners in scoring position and was 4-for-7 with the bases loaded including a game-winning tenth inning grand slam against the Apprentice School on Feb. 18. Houck had a pair of homers against Apprentice and had a season-high seven RBIs. He also had four RBIs in consecutive games against Millersville and Mansfield on Apr. 3 & 10, respectively. He had a 14-game hitting streak during the season and two multi-home run games.

2010 (Game-by-Game): Houck set numerous records during his sophomore season. He became Kutztown’s all-time single season leader in home runs (17), doubles (24), runs scored (74), RBI (77), total bases (160) and his 83 hits are tied for fifth. Houck finished the season with a team-best .449 batting average. Houck was also a semifinalist for the Tino Martinez Award, which is given to the best baseball player in the country. Houck ended the season ranked among the top 20 nationally in six categories. He finished fourth nationally in slugging percentage, seventh in batting average, seventh in on base percentage, 13th in home runs, 14th in doubles and 17th in runs batted in. Among his many highlights this season was a three home run game against Bloomfield, blasting a game-winning homer to beat West Chester in the regular season, 24 multi-hit games and winning the PSAC East Player of the Week awards five times. Houck also had a 13-game hitting streak during the season. He had three multi-home run games.

2009 (Game-by-Game): Houck had a .390 batting average to lead the Golden Bears in hitting. He played in all 51 games and started in 50. He also led KU in home runs (7), hits (64), runs scored (52), total bases (100), slugging percentage (.610) and on-base percentage (.487). His 13 doubles, 35 RBIs and 26 base-on-balls were each second most on the team. Houck was named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Eastern Division Rookie of the Year.
