Biography
2011: Mehaffey was a scoring machine for the Golden Bears. She led KU in goals scored (40), assists (11) and points (51). She had 10 multi-goal scoring games, including a six-goal outing against Converse College. Mehaffey also scored five times and handed out two assists in a game against Edinboro. She also scored four goals against Indiana (Pa.), Mercy, Gannon, and Shippensburg. Overall, Mehaffey had at least point in 15 of Kutztown's 17 games this season. Mehaffey scored her 100th career goal against West Chester University. She is currently fourth on the all-time scoring list with 102 goals in her three year career. Mehaffey has scored 40 or more goals in two consecutive seasons. She had 41 goals as a sophomore. Mehaffey also finished with 25 ground balls and 20 caused turnovers. Honors: All-PSAC third team.
2010: Mehaffey started in eight games this season and participated in 10 total games…She was second on the team for points with 29…She ranked third for goals scored (21) and second on the team with assists (8) for the season…Mehaffey scored a game high five goals against East Stroudsburg on April 12…She scored the game winning goal against Philadelphia University in the final game of the regular season…Defensively, she was 10th on the team with caused turnovers (7). Honors: PSAC East second team.
