Biography

2011 Game by Game Statistics

2011: Derr played and started in 48 games in her freshman year. As a pitcher, she led the team in wins with 21 and had the lowest ERA (1.77). Twice in the 2011 season, Derr was named the PSAC East Pitcher of the Week. She recorded nine shutouts (second on the KU Season Pitching Records) and struck out 145 batters (fifth on the KU Season Pitching Records). She pitched 210 innings which third on the KU Season Pitching Records. Derr had a .265 batting average that included 41 hits, 16 runs, and 17 RBIs. She helped KU to its ninth consecutive appearance to the NCAA Division II Atlantic Regional and win 40 or more games for its fifth straight season.
