LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Kutztown University freshman forward Carly Louey (Hanover, Pa./South Western) earns Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division Athlete of the week, the league office announced Monday afternoon.
 
Louey scored twice in each of Kutztown's victories over Millersville and Mansfield for the No. 4 Golden Bears to earn her third Athlete of the Week honors this season.
 
Against Millersville on Wednesday, Louey scored twice in the second half, helping KU secure a 3-1 comeback victory. She followed with another two-goal scoring game against Mansfield on Saturday, scoring in the eighth and 23rd minutes to help KU to a 4-0 victory.
 
The Hanover, Pa. Native continues to rank among the top offensive players in the PSAC, sitting second in the conference in goals (14) and points (38), while leading the league in game-winning goals (seven).
 
Kutztown will close out its regular season Wednesday with a road matchup against West Chester as the Golden Bears prepare for postseason play.
