KINGS POINT, N.Y. – Olivia Bing (Newtown, Pa./Council Rock North) and Lorelei Grove (Red Lion, Pa./Red Lion) both recorded Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference qualifying standards in the 1650 Free to highlight the Kutztown women's swim team Saturday at the USMMA Memorial Invite in Kings Point, N.Y.
 
Bing and Grove were able to secure the PSAC cut times in the final meet of the regular season to join several other Golden Bears at the PSAC Championships two weeks from Monday. Bing finished with a time of 19:07.11, while Grove was right behind at 19:10.39.
 
Six other Golden Bears swam to qualifying standards, including Ana Soto (Hamburg, N.J./Vernon Township) in the 100 Free, Kara Damico (Brookhaven, Pa./Sun Valley) and Frannie Pease-Wingenter (Goodyear, Ariz./Millennium) in the 50 Free, Birta Smaradottir (Mosfellsbær, Iceland/Commercial College of Iceland) in the 400 IM, Phoebe Armes (Somerset, UK/Millfield School) in the 200 Free and Tatum Rothermel (Halifax, Pa./Halifax) in the 200 Breast.
 
Kutztown will next compete in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Championships to conclude the season. The four-day event runs from Monday, Feb. 17, through Thursday, Feb. 20, at the Graham Aquatic Center in York, Pa.
