Soccer’s Jordan recognized as PSAC Champion Scholar

WEST CHESTER, Pa.  Prior to Friday's Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference's semifinal round games at West Chester's Rockwell Field, senior defender Skyler Jordan (Nazareth, Pa./Nazareth) of the Kutztown University women's soccer team was recognized as the 2025 PSAC Champion Scholar.

Jordan's honor marks the second time a Golden Bear women's soccer student-athlete has been crowned the PSAC Champion Scholar, joining Rebekah March from 2023.

The PSAC Champion Scholar Awards are modeled after the NCAA's Elite 90 award and honor the student-athlete with the top-grade point average who is competing at each of the PSAC's finals sites. The selection criteria for the Champion Scholar Awards is identical to that of the NCAA Elite 90 awards, which honor the student-athlete with the top GPA at each of the championship finals sites of the 90 NCAA championships across all three divisions – I, II, and III.

Jordan holds a perfect 4.0 GPA in her fourth year with the Golden Bears, as she is looking to graduate with a degree in political science with minors in anthropology, global studies and professional writing. She is a six-time member of the KU Dean's List, a three-time PSAC Scholar Athlete, a two-time recipient of the D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award, and a member of the 2023 Academic All District Team.

The Nazareth, Pa., native has played in 64 career games with 60 starts on the defensive line for Kutztown, including starting all 17 games this season. She has tallied four career goals and a pair of assists, while she has set career highs in both points (5) and total shots (15) in 2025.
