KUTZTOWN, Pa. – Senior forward Erin Gonzalez (East Earl, Pa./Garden Spot) of No. 1 Kutztown couldn't have asked for a better week on the field as she helped lead her team to two victories to remain unbeaten during the regular season. For the second time in three weeks, Gonzalez was named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week.
 
Gonzalez had an important week for No. 1 Kutztown and herself, individually. Gonzalez assisted on the game's opening goal in a 3-1 victory over No. 5 West Chester last Tuesday night. The captain then had an historic day for her career in a 7-0 win against Slippery Rock on senior day Saturday. Gonzalez netted a career-best four goals and eclipsed the 100 point mark for her career.
 
Kutztown has three straight road games this week, first taking on Millersville Wednesday night at 6 p.m. KU will then play Frostburg State Saturday, followed by Maryville at Frostburg on Sunday.
