KUTZTOWN, Pa. –
Sam Graf (Wayne, N.J./Wayne Hills) set a new program record for goals in a season and
Jenna Blesson (Sparta, N.J./Lenape Valley Regional) finished with 11 saves in net as No. 10 Kutztown women's lacrosse kept its win streak going and took down Millersville 18-8 in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Eastern Division game at Keystone Field on senior day Saturday.
Â
The Golden Bears (13-2 overall, 9-1 PSAC) won for the sixth time in-a-row and clinched at least the second seed in the East in the PSAC Tournament, with the opportunity to earn the top seed still in play.
Â
Prior to the game, head coach Kristen Nicholsen and the KU athletic department recognized five seniors, including
Madeline Anemone (West Caldwell, N.J./James Caldwell),
Kelly Askins (Galloway, N.J./Absegami),
Emma Meakim (Hatboro, Pa./Upper Moreland),
Shannon Lake (Medford, N.Y./Patchogue-Medford) and
Robin Spector (Northfield, N.J./Mainland Regional).

Â
Kutztown was never really threatened in this one, scoring three first quarter goals and holding the Marauders (4-10, 2-8) scoreless for the first 21:10 of the game and held a 5-0 lead by that point. KU went up by as many as seven (8-1) and took an 8-3 lead into halftime.
Â
The Maroon and Gold kept their lead at either seven or eight throughout the third quarter until they finally broke through into a double figure lead in the fourth quarter and were able to enact a running clock the rest of the way.
Â
Lailah ElBouazzaoui (Bridgewater, N.J./Bridgewater-Raritan) recorded a hat trick with three goals and added an assist. Meakim tallied a goal and two assists and
Olivia Eilbacher (Cherry Hill, N.J./Camden Catholic),
Katie Yocum (Hanover, Pa./South Western) and
Madison Wenner (Marmora, N.J./Ocean City) rounded out the scoring with a goal each.
Cyrose Conteh (Elizabethtown, Pa./Elizabethtown) won a team-best six draw controls.
Â
