ORANGEBURG, N.Y. –
Lailah ElBouazzaoui (Bridgewater, N.J./Bridgewater-Raritan) and
Sam Graf (Wayne, N.J./Wayne Hills) both went over the 100 career goal mark and combined for 10 goals to lead the No. 19 Kutztown women's lacrosse attack to a 16-13 road victory at Dominican in Orangeburg, N.Y., Tuesday afternoon.

The Golden Bears remain unbeaten to start of the new season at 2-0 overall.

ElBouazzaoui finished with a game-high six goals and currently ranks second in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference with 10 goals this season, through just two games, whereas the leader, Caroline Stevens from Gannon, has 13 in three games. Graf tallied four goals and one assist and also won a team-best eight draw controls.

The two teams traded goals through the opening 7:15 of the game as ElBouazzaoui and
Olivia Eilbacher (Cherry Hill, N.J./Camden Catholic) each had a goal in that time frame. ElBouazzaoui and Graf combined to double up the lead for the Maroon and Gold as they led 4-2 after the first.

KU then took its largest lead to date at five (7-2), opening the second quarter with three straight goals in the first 3:49, as ElBouazzaoui netted twice and
Madison Wenner (Marmora, N.J./Ocean City) also found the back of the net. The Chargers responded with three unanswered goals to end the half down 7-5.

The Golden Bears netted twice in the first 3:22 of the third quarter with
Lauren Lamorte (West Islip, N.Y./West Islip) and
Maddie Wagner (Lancaster, Pa./Manheim Township) recording their first of the contest. After a Dominican goal, Kutztown went on another 3-0 run with two tallies from Graf and one by ElBouazzaoui to take its biggest lead of the game at six (12-6) and found itself on top 13-9 after three.

The Chargers pulled to within three (13-10) with 14:00 remaining, but that was the closest they would get the rest of the way.
Jenna Blesson (Sparta, N.J./Lenape Valley Regional) made 14 saves in net and earned the win.

Eilbacher finished with two goals and four assists.
Emma Meakim (Hatboro, Pa./Upper Moreland) recorded three assists. Wenner added two goals.

Kutztown is back home to host Tampa this Saturday, March 9, at 11 a.m., from Keystone Field, before playing against Barton in Wilson, N.C., on Monday, March 11, during spring break.
