East Stroudsburg, Pa.-- The Kutztown University women's swimming team dominated from start to finish, taking down both East Stroudsburg and Felician in the final meet of the regular season at the Koehler Fieldhouse in East Stroudsburg Saturday afternoon. The Golden Bears battled it out over Golden Falcons 134-106 before rolling over the Warriors 165-74.

KU started the day strong, capturing a victory in the first four events of the meet. The foursome of Gracie McKee (Boyertown, Pa./Boyertown), Jade Ware (Easton, Pa./Wilson Area), Ana Soto (Hamburg, N.J./Vernon Township), and Frannie Pease-Wingenter (Goodyear, Ariz./Millennium) opened it up with a victory in the 200-yard medley relay. Olivia Bing (Newtown, Pa./Council Rock North)'s first-place finish followed that in the 1650-yard freestyle. Annamarie Rodier (Mount Laurel, N.J./Lenape) and McKee then made PSAC cut times with top finishes in the 200-yard freestyle and the 100-yard backstroke, respectively. 

KU's next PSAC qualifier came in the 50-yard freestyle. Pease-Wingenter finished in second place with a cut time of 25.62. 

Rodier and McKee hit their second PSAC cut times of the meet in the following events, finishing second and first in the 100-yard freestyle and the 200-yard backstroke. Rodier then hit another cut time, winning the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:21.01. 

Keara Bedson (Ballston Spa, N.Y./Ballston Spa), Jaylin Calistro (Temple, N.H./Contoocook Valley Regional), Bryana Burke (Perkasie, Pa./Pennridge), Ana Soto (Hamburg, N.J./Vernon Township), Paige Heck (Dauphin, Pa./Central Dauphin), Natasha Sheehy (Tempe, Australia/MLC School), and Emily Francisco (East Greenville, Pa./Upper Perkiomen) were the other Golden Bears to earn top-three finishes in their respective events. 

With the conclusion of the regular season, the Golden Bears now turn their attention to the PSAC Championships. The championships will run from Wednesday, Feb. 15 to Saturday, Feb. 18 at the Graham Aquatic Center in York, Pa.
