BLOOMSBURG, Pa. -- Junior Erika Moriarty (Kutztown, Pa./Kutztown) and senior Jaelyn D'Amelio (Manahawkin, N.J./Southern Regional) both earned All-PSAC Second Team finishes as the Kutztown University women's cross country team finished ninth at the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Cross Country Championship Saturday morning at Bloomsburg.

Moriarty makes it three-for-three at PSACs in her college career, earning her third all-conference finish in three seasons. The Kutztown native just finished short of a first-team spot, earning a 16th-place finish with a time of 24:05.3.

Saturday was a redemption for D'Amelio after she finished just outside of an All-PSAC spot last season at Mansfield after earning one in 2021. The senior team captain from Manahawkin, N.J.  crossed the line in 21st-place with a time of 24:12.7. 

Ana Fratanduono (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Ryan) turned in a solid finish in 40th-place. Behind her was the duo of Deandra Young (East Stroudsburg, Pa./Stroudsburg) and Madeline Barney (Oakland, N.J./Indian Hills), who finished together in 68th and 69th-place. Julianna Elsesser (Schnecksville, Pa./Parkland), Sage Dunkleberger (Watsontown, Pa./Warrior Run), and Fiona Buffington (Landenberg, Pa./Avon Grove) rounded out the Golden Bears to compete at Bloomsburg.

Slippery Rock ran away with the team title with 59 points. Bloomsburg was in second with 125, while third place Edinboro ended with 138. Kylie Anicic from Edinboro was the top overall finisher, crossing the line with a time of 21:37.2.

The Golden Bears have two weeks to reset before the NCAA Atlantic Region Championships at the West Branch Cross Country Course at Lock Haven.
