KUTZTOWN, Pa. – Kutztown women's volleyball led for all but four points the entire night as KU earned an important Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference East Division victory in straight sets over Lock Haven Friday night at Keystone Arena.

The Golden Bears (13-11 overall, 7-6 PSAC) now currently sit in a tie in fourth place in the division with East Stroudsburg with one match remaining before the PSAC Tournament begins next week. Four teams from the East and West divisions make the postseason.

Kutztown led from start to finish in the opening set and watched as the Bald Eagles (1-23, 1-12) scored the first point in the second set and the first two points of the third set, but KU quickly showed its offensive firepower all over the court and overmatched Lock Haven to fight back from there each set and take the match in three.

Adrianna Derstine (Barto, Pa./Boyertown) finished with a match-high 14 kills, seven digs and two blocks.
Sadie Doss (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Mechanicsburg) recorded 10 kills and led the team with nine digs.
Jasmine Mooney (Lehighton, Pa./Marian Catholic) had six kills and one block.
Cat Farole (Orefield, Pa./Parkland) led KU with two service aces.
Lexi Morrow (Landisburg, Pa./West Perry) contributed 32 assists.

Kutztown has its final regular season match tomorrow, Saturday, Nov. 5, when it hosts Bloomsburg at 2 p.m., on senior day, from Keystone Arena. Five members of the Golden Bears will be honored, including Doss, Morrow, Grigsby, Agosti and Mooney.
