ALLENTOWN, Pa. – Kutztown University women's swimming got into the win column for the first time this season and had three swimmers record a total of four Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference qualifying times as KU defeated Cedar Crest College 147-92 in a non-conference meet last Saturday afternoon at Cedar Crest.
The Golden Bears (1-1 overall) bounced back from a defeat at Shippensburg in their season opening meet on Sept. 28.
Annamarie Rodier (Mount Laurel, N.J./Lenape) achieved two cut times, in the 1000-Free and the 500-Free, finishing first in both events.
Ana Soto (Hamburg, N.J./Vernon Township) touched the line first in the 50-Free and had a PSAC time of 25.77.
Frannie Pease-Wingenter (Goodyear, Ariz./Millennium) rounded out the trio with a 50-Free cut time of 25.71 leading off the A relay of the 200-Free Relay.

Jade Ware (Easton, Pa./Wilson Area),
Natasha Sheehy (Tempe, Australia/MLC School),
Emily Francisco (East Greenville, Pa./Upper Perkiomen),
Gracie McKee (Boyertown, Pa./Boyertown) and
Paige Heck (Dauphin, Pa./Central Dauphin) all had first-place finishes in their respective events.
Kutztown has its first home meet of the season this Saturday, Oct. 22, at 2 p.m., when it welcomes Lock Haven for homecoming.
