KUTZTOWN, Pa. -- Just as fifth-ranked Kutztown University women's soccer was preparing to take the field for Wednesday evening's PSAC East clash with Shepherd, lightning forced Keystone Field to be cleared. After a two-hour delay, storms remained in the vicinity and the game was officially postponed.
No makeup date has been decided upon yet, but when the Golden Bears return to the field they'll be going for their fifth win in as many games to start the 2021 season.
With no game on the docket for this coming Saturday, KU tentatively lines up to face Millersville on the road next Wednesday, Sept. 22. It will be the teams' second meeting in two weeks after the Bears defeated the Marauders 1-0 on Sept. 8 at Keystone Field.
