All-Region Teams
 
KUTZTOWN, Pa. – Bridget Bailey (Norwood, Pa./Interboro), Brianna Hughes (Hatboro, Pa./Upper Moreland) and Jenna Lipowski (Nanticoke, Pa./Greater Nanticoke Area) all added to their postseason accolades, as the trio was voted to the 2021 Division II Conference Commissioner's Association (CCA) All-Atlantic Region second team, as voted on by the league's sports information directors.
 
All three Golden Bears have earned postseason recognition, as Bailey and Lipowski were voted to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association Division II All-Atlantic Region team last week, and all three of them were honored as members of the All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference team, with Hughes and Bailey on the first team and Lipowski on the second team.
 
Hughes, the PSAC Rookie of the Year, made a mark in her first collegiate season. The three-hole hitter started all 45 games this season and ranked second in the PSAC in runs scored with 47 following the regular season. She also ranked in the top-10 in doubles (12), triples (3), home runs (11) and RBIs (38), while batting .344.
 
Lipowski, the senior first baseman and cleanup hitter led KU in batting average (.425), HRs (13) and RBIs (49) during the regular season, which ranked fourth in the PSAC. Her .795 slugging percentage was fifth-best in the conference.
 
Bailey, the junior pitcher and one of the staff's aces, was 10-1 on the year with a 2.43 ERA, which ranked sixth-best in the conference. Opponents hit just .232 against her, fifth-best in the PSAC.
 
The Golden Bears (32-13 overall) are currently the top seed in the NCAA Atlantic Region Tournament, hosted at North Campus Field.
