WEDNESDAY RESULTS
YORK, Pa. –
Lindsay Brenneman (Dover, Pa./Dover) had the top overall finish for the Kutztown University women's swimmers in an individual event, as KU completed day one at the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships in York Wednesday.
Brenneman finished 11th in the 100-Free in a season-best time of 10:38.01. Classmate
Megan Hayward (Meshoppen, Pa./Tunkhannock) also had a season-best time of 11:03.46 in the event, placing 24th.
Charlotte Owens (Miamisburg, Ohio/Miamisburg) and
Keelie Walker (York, Pa./York Suburban) each earned personal-best marks in the 200-IM and 50-Free prelims respectively.
Jocelyn Seidt (Sinking Spring, Pa./Wilson) recorded a season-best time of 2:21.43 in the 200-IM.
The 800-Free relay team of Brenneman,
Emmarose DeCaro (Apex, N.C./Apex), Walker and Hayward placed in the top-10 with an eighth-place finish. DeCaro, Owens, Seidt and Walker competed in the 200-Medley Relay.
Kutztown is eighth after the first day with 93 team points.
Action resumes on Thursday, Feb. 20, beginning at 10 a.m. Competed events include the 400-IM, 100-Fly and 200-Free.

Owens, Seidt and
Keara Bedson (Ballston Spa, N.Y./Ballston Spa) all swam in the 200-IM, while Walker competed in the 50-Free. Owens beat her personal-best (2:17.80) in the event by a mere 0.10, and Seidt earned a season-best mark of 2:21.43. Walker bested her previous PR of 25.67 with a time of 25.41 in the 50-Free.
