Keanna Delp (Mifflinburg, Pa./Mifflinburg Area) recorded an 18.6 frame average over 50 frames, Saturday, to earn a spot on the all-tournament team as the Kutztown University women's bowling team went 4-1 at the Molloy Baker Challenge.
Delp got support from teammate Ashley Fisher, who had a 17.0 average while also playing 50 frames.
Kutztown (64-52) continued its recent stretch of strong head-to-head play, having now gone 18-5 in its last 23 matches going back to Feb. 3.
The Golden Bears got off to a solid start with an 849-660 victory over Saint Thomas Aquinas, before falling to LIU Post 915-812. They'd finish the day with three straight wins, however, turning back Felician, 795-748, Caldwell, 844-785, and host Molloy, 906-810.
KU finished the day fifth in the team standings with a total pinfall of 4,206 (186.2 average). They'll be back in action tomorrow at AMF Babylon Lanes for another tournament hosted by Molloy.
