DALLAS, Pa. – The Kutztown University women's swimming team competed in a dual meet Saturday afternoon, splitting with Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) opponent East Stroudsburg and host Misericordia in Dallas.
 
The Golden Bears defeated the Warriors 109-90 but fell to the Cougars 128.50-75.50.
 
Kutztown won three individual events out of the nine total, including junior Lindsay Brenneman (Dover, Pa./Dover) earning gold in the 1000-free and 500-free, while sophomore Emmarose DeCaro (Apex, N.C./Apex) touched the wall first in the 200-free. KU also saw sophomore Charlotte Owens (Miamisburg, Ohio/Miamisburg) place second in both the 200-IM and 100-breast.
 
Junior Jocelyn Seidt (Sinking Spring, Pa./Wilson) finished in the top-three in both the 100-fly and 200-free, while being the first into the water in the third-place 200-medley relay team of her, Keelie Walker (York, Pa./York Suburban), Carley Wise (Wernersville, Pa./Conrad Weiser) and DeCaro. Walker also had a third-place finish in the 200-IM.
 
Kutztown will compete against Lock Haven University in a PSAC meet next Saturday, Oct. 26, on the road beginning at 1 p.m.
