Day 2 Standings
READING, Pa. – The Kutztown University women's bowling team won two matches on Saturday and stands in fifth place through 10 matches and the second day of the fourth annual Golden Bears Classic from Berks Lanes.
Sophomore
Alexis Case (Ocean, N.J./Ocean Township) was strong on Saturday, leading the Golden Bears with an 18.51 frame average.
The Golden Bears (57-36) opened the day with an 867-822 setback to LIU Post, snapping a five-match winning streak from Friday, but bounced back with a 900-844 win over Chestnut Hill.
KU faced off against No. 14 Saint Francis (PA) and dropped a 969-895 decision, followed by a seven-pin, 798-791 loss to New Jersey City. Kutztown ended the day with a strong, day-high 951-770 final over Saint Peter's in which it won 4-of-5 games.
Sophomore
Angela Kozma (Beachwood, N.J./Toms River South) was second on KU with an 18.08 frame average, followed by freshman
Keanna Delp (Mifflinburg, Pa./Mifflinburg Area) at 17.85.
Adelphi leads the way at 9-1 through two days. Saint Francis (PA) is second, Duquesne is third and Franklin Pierce is fourth.
