KUTZTOWN, Pa. – The Kutztown University women's swim team honored its four seniors in style, defeating Cedar Crest College 116-88 Saturday afternoon on Senior Day at Keystone Pool.
 
The quartet of Claire Frank (Macungie, Pa./Emmaus), Brigid Grant (Southampton, Pa./Archbishop Wood), Katerina Parowski (Altoona, Pa./Altoona) and Linnea Pierson (Green Township, N.J./Newton) all competed in their final home meet as Golden Bears, and all four finished in the top-two of at least one event on the day.
 
Frank, Grant, Parowski and Pierson all swam together in both the 200-Medley and 400-Free relays, claiming the top-times in both.
 
Sophomore Lindsay Brenneman (Dover, Pa./Dover) swam a top-10 time, 10th in program history, winning the 100-fly at a mark of 1:01.65.
 
A total of 11 other KU swimmers posted the top-time out of 11 events, including Frank three times, Brenneman and Walker twice, and Alison McLaughlin (Hatfield, Pa./North Penn), Keelie Walker (York, Pa./York Suburban), Charlotte Owens (Miamisburg, Ohio/Miamisburg), Parowski, Emmarose DeCaro (Apex, N.C./Apex) and Carley Wise (Wernersville, Pa./Conrad Weiser). DeCaro swam a season-best time of 29.66 in the 50-Back.
 
Kutztown will have over a month off until it next competes, at the Westminster Snowbird Invitational in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. on Saturday, Jan. 12.
