KUTZTOWN, Pa. – The Kutztown University men's rugby team won its second game in a row and scored the most points it has all season in a 119-0 victory over the University of Buffalo last Saturday, Nov. 3, on the KU Rugby Pitch on North Campus.
The Golden Bears (3-2 overall) had a season-high 19 try's with four different KU players record multiple try's.
Gerald Lowe (Pretoria, South Africa/Die Hoerskool Menlopark) led the way with three, followed by two each from
Jake Rice (West Chester, Pa./West Chester Rustin),
Brock Stinson (Colorado Springs, Colo./Coronado ) and
Maxim Bennett (Charlotte, N.C./Charlotte Catholic).
James Jacques (West Chester, Pa./Bayard Rustin) connected on 14-of-19 conversions and also added on try for a total of 33 points scored, a new single-game record for points scored.
Kutztown wraps up its fall regular season this Sunday, Nov. 11, at 1 p.m. at Saint Bonaventure University.
