KUTZTOWN, Pa. – The Kutztown University women's swimming team will honor four seniors Saturday, Dec. 1, before its meet against Cedar Crest College as it wraps up its home slate at 1 p.m. at Keystone Pool.
Seniors
Claire Frank (Macungie, Pa./Emmaus),
Brigid Grant (Southampton, Pa./Archbishop Wood),
Katerina Parowski (Altoona, Pa./Altoona Area) and
Linnea Pierson (Green Township, N.J./Newton) will host their final collegiate meet at Kutztown to highlight four decorated careers in Maroon and Gold.
The Golden Bears enter this weekend with a 4-2 mark overall and nine PSAC-Qualifiers.
Over the past four seasons, this quartet has been a part of two straight winning seasons, excluding this one. They teams have a combined 11 PSAC Championship appearances, are a part of seven all-time individual top-10 marks and four relay top-10 performances in program history. In the classroom, they have a combined six PSAC Scholar-Athlete selections and 12 Dean's List Honors.
Frank is a four-year member of the Golden Bears and a four-year PSAC-Qualifier in the 50-, 100-, 200-Free, 200-, 400-IM, and 100 and 200-Back. She is a 3x Team MVP, a 3x PSAC Scholar-Athlete, 6x Dean's List Honors and a 2x D2ADA Academic Achievement Award.
The Macungie native holds top-10 KU records in the 50-Free, 100 and 200-Back, and the 100 and 200-IM. In relays, she ranks in the top-10 in the 200, 400 AND 800-Free.
Frank will graduate with a degree in Communication Design.
Grant is a four-year member of the Golden Bears. She has competed in all seven meets this season, primarily swimming in the 100 and 200-Fly and different relays.
In the classroom, Grant is a Dean's List student.
She will graduate with a degree Finance.
Parowski is a four-year member of the Golden Bears and is a four-year PSAC-Qualifier in the 50-, 100-, 200- and 500-Free. She holds top-10 KU records in the 50 and 100-Free and in the 200, 400 and 800-Free Relays.
In the classroom, Parowski is a 3x PSAC Scholar-Athlete, 5x Dean's List Honoree and a 2x D2ADA Academic Achievement Award winner.
She will graduate with a degree in Public Administration.
Pierson is a four-year member of the Golden Bears and a three-year PSAC-Qualifier in the 200-Breast, 200-Fly and 400-IM.
She will graduate with a degree in Environmental Science.

Keelie Walker (York, Pa./York Suburban) have all swam for PSAC-Qualifying marks.
After the meet with the Falcons Saturday, Kutztown will have over a month off until it next competes, at the Westminster Snowbird Invite in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. on Saturday, Jan. 12.
