WHITEHALL, Pa. – The 24th-ranked Kutztown University women's bowling team notched a 3-2 record on Saturday as the host of the Kutztown Duals, a one-day tournament at Jordan Lanes.
 
Kutztown pulled out two close matches to begin the day, downing Bloomfield University and Molloy University 745-721 and 861-840, respectively. 
 
The Maroon and Gold had their first defeat of the day in their third match, falling to LIU Post 813-800. However, the Golden Bears quickly got their revenge, downing the Pioneers in each team's next tilt, 832-818. The final match of the day pitted KU against Molloy, who got some payback of its own with a 998-888 win.

KU will have two weeks off from competition before traveling to Millsboro, Del. for the Hawk Classic, hosted by University of Maryland Eastern Shore Nov. 16-18.
