KUTZTOWN, Pa. – Sophomore
Lindsay Brenneman (Dover, Pa./Dover) won two events and led a group of seven individual winners as the Kutztown University women's swimming team won a total of eight events in defeating Lock Haven University 116-67 Saturday afternoon at Keystone Pool.
The Golden Bears have now won two of their first three meets this season.
Brenneman took first place in both the 200-free and 100-fly, while
Jocelyn Seidt (Sinking Spring, Pa./Wilson) won the 1000-Free,
Claire Frank (Macungie, Pa./Emmaus) placed first in the 200-IM,
Alison McLaughlin (Hatfield, Pa./North Penn) finished first in the 100-Free,
Emmarose DeCaro (Apex, N.C./Apex) won the 100-Back and
Katerina Parowski (Altoona, Pa./Altoona) came in first place in the 500-Free for KU.
The quartet of Decaro, Brenneman, McLaughlin and
Keelie Walker (York, Pa./York Suburban) placed first in the 400-Medley Relay.
Kutztown is next in the pool next weekend when it competes in a tri-match at California (PA) with the Vulcans and East Stroudsburg University, beginning Friday, Nov. 2 with the match against Cal and then ending Saturday, Nov. 3 against both the Warriors and Vulcans.
