KUTZTOWN, Pa. – The Kutztown University women's volleyball team will honor the five members of its senior class before its final home game of the 2018 season against California (PA) University on Saturday, Oct. 27 at 1 p.m.
KU welcomes Seton Hill and California (PA) for its final home stand of the season in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) on Friday, Nov. 26 and Saturday, Nov. 27, respectively. Friday's match with Seton Hill will be televised on KUTV which then be simulcast through the Kutztown University Stretch Internet portal accessible on www.kubears.com.

The Golden Bears group of five seniors which will be honored prior to Saturday's match consists of
Niki Carpenter (King of Prussia, Pa./Upper Merion Area),
Jessica Howe (Chambersburg, Pa./Chambersburg Area),
Amanda Meck (Fleetwood, Pa./Fleetwood Area),
Paige Miller (Halifax, Pa./Halifax (Harrisburg Area C.C)) and
Brittney Moyer (Orwigsburg, Pa./Blue Mountain (Lock Haven)).
Carpenter is a four-year member of the Golden Bears and has appeared in 106 career matches. She has accumulated 240 kills and 315 total blocks at KU. This season, Carpenter has appeared in 21 matches, posting 46 kills and 67 blocks.
A three-time PSAC scholar-athlete, Niki is set to graduate in May with a degree in Elementary Education.
Howe is a four-year member of the Golden Bears and has appeared in 107 career matches. She has recorded 716 kills and 162 blocks in her time at KU. This season, Howe has appeared in all 23 matches, racking up 115 kills and 50 blocks.
A 2018 team captain, Howe is set to graduate in May with a degree in Business Marketing and minor in Public Relations.
Meck is a three-year member of the Golden Bears and has appeared in 67 career matches. She has recorded 504 career assists, 241 digs and 32 service aces. This season, Meck has appeared in all 23 matches, racking up 301 assists and 138 digs.
A two-time PSAC Scholar-Athlete, Meck is set to graduate in May with dual degrees in Marketing and Finance.
Miller is a two-year member of the Golden Bears and has appeared in eight career matches. She has recorded nine digs and four service aces at KU.
A PSAC scholar-athlete, Miller is set to graduate next December with a degree in Elementary Education.
Moyer is a three-year member of the Golden Bears and has appeared in 83 career matches. She has recorded 973 kills, 797 digs and 98 service aces. Including her freshman season at Lock Haven, Moyer has racked up 1,272 career kills and 1,112 digs. This season, she has played in all 23 matches, posting 233 kills and 199 digs.
A 2018 team captain, Moyer is set to graduate in May with a degree in Criminal Justice.
KU (10-13, 3-10 PSAC) will look to send its senior class out on a positive note with three road games remaining against PSAC East foes East Stroudsburg, Millersville and West Chester to conclude conference play.
