KUTZTOWN, Pa. – Two Kutztown University football players will get their shot at the next level. Wide receiver Anthony Kelly (Pottsville, Pa./Pottsville Area) signed an undrafted free agent contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Saturday, while running back Terry Williams (West Orange, N.J./Cosby (Phoenix College)) was invited to rookie minicamp by the New York Giants.

Rookie minicamps for both organizations start on Friday, May 6.

Kelly caught 16 touchdowns over the last two years for the Golden Bears. At 6-3, 210 lbs., the Pottsville native was one of Kutztown's top red-zone targets throughout his career. Last year in 2015, he had 38 catches for 437 yards and seven touchdowns as a redshirt-senior.

For his career, Kelly played in 41 games, had 97 catches for 1,406 yards and is tied for fourth all-time in KU history with 22 receiving touchdowns. He remains in KU's record book for hauling in a school-record-tying four touchdowns for a career-high 152 yards against Indiana (PA) on Sept. 13, 2014, earning him the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division Offensive Athlete of the Week.

Williams was a two-year player and two-time All-PSAC East Second Team running back for KU. He averaged a career-high 74.3 rushing yards per game and found the endzone 14 times as a senior in 2015. His 13 rushing touchdowns are fourth-most in KU single-season history, topping his previous-best of nine from 2014.

On Oct. 24, 2015, Williams set the school-record for the longest run in program history with a 98-yard touchdown run in KU's homecoming victory over East Stroudsburg. It catapulted him to ranking second in the PSAC and 12th in Division II at 6.92 yards-per-carry, the most for a KU back with at least 100 carries since Dontay Wilson's 7.37 average in 2008.

Williams closed his career with 1,501 rushing yards and 22 touchdowns, an average of 71.5 yards per game. He is the 14th player in school history to run for 1,500 career yards and ranks sixth at KU with 22 career rushing touchdowns.

The two are the first Golden Bears to attend an NFL rookie minicamp since running back Robbie Frey in 2012.
