DEVON, Pa. – Jenn Fitts (Birdsboro, Pa./Twin Valley) led the Kutztown University women's bowling team with a 190+ average as the Golden Bears went 4-1 at a tri-meet on Saturday with Chestnut Hill and Wilmington.
 
Kutztown went 2-0 against Wilmington and 2-1 against Chestnut Hill. KU averaged an 841.86 in its five games.
 
Fitts had the second-highest average at the tournament. She a 190.6 clip in her five matches, highlighted by a 221 against Chestnut Hill.
 
Angela Kozma (Beachwood, N.J./Toms River South) averaged a 185.2, Jess Garzio (Ewing, N.J./Ewing) followed at 172 and Renee Riffey (Glen Burnie, Md./North County) was at 169 to cap Kutztown's top starters.
 
The Golden Bears take next weekend off before returning to action Nov. 18-20 at the UMES Hawk Classic.
