KUTZTOWN, Pa. – The Kutztown University women's swimming team recorded a dual-meet win by a score of 151-100 on Saturday afternoon over Juniata College at Keystone Pool.
 
Two Golden Bears posted Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC)-qualifying marks in the meet. Sophomore Madi Bleiler (Dillsburg, Pa./Northern) won the 100-back in 1:02.63 and freshman Claire Frank (Macungie, Pa./Emmaus) won the 50-free in 25.78.
 
Bleiler also won the 50-back and was part of the winning 200-medley relay team along with Suzanne Selman (Coopersburg, Pa./Southern Lehigh), Kara Jones (Greencastle, Pa./James Buchanan) and Frank. Frank captured wins in the 100-free and 200-IM as well.
 
Junior Meredith Heydt (Allentown, Pa./Salisbury (Lehigh Carbon CC)) picked up a victory in the 1000-free in a time of 12:31.52, while Jones and Katerina Parowski (Altoona, Pa./Altoona Area) placed first and second in the 200-free with times of 2:02.52 and 2:04.82, respectively. Parowski also contributed to the meet win with a victory in the 500-free in 5:41.40.
 
Selman recorded two individual wins on the afternoon, placing first in both the 50 and 100-breast. She touched the wall in 34.75 seconds in the 50, while recording a time of 1:16.15 in the 100.
 
Senior Sam Scialpi (West Pittston, Pa./Pittston Area) had two second-place finishes in the meet. She recorded a time of 31.81 in the 50-back and 1:08.90 in the 100-back.
 
Kutztown heads to Lancaster, Pa. next weekend to participate in the Franklin & Marshall Invitational. The three-day meet begins on Friday, Nov. 20 at 6 p.m. and concludes on Sunday, Nov. 22.
