INDIANA, Pa. – The Kutztown University field hockey team ended its regular season with a 3-2 loss in a non-conference game against Indiana University of Pennsylvania at George P. Miller Stadium.

Kutztown (12-6) will have a chance to win its first postseason game since 1988 in next week's Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Tournament. KU hosts West Chester in a quarterfinal matchup on Tuesday, Nov. 3 at 7 p.m. at Andre Reed Stadium. It's Kutztown's first appearance in the PSAC playoffs since 2009.

Indiana (Pa.) (8-10) got on the board first at the 16:08 mark in the first half. Amber Bailey caged her fifth goal of the season for the Crimson Hawks off a scramble in front of the goal.

The teams held each other scoreless through the next 30 minutes of play.

Haley Fidler gave the Crimson Hawks a 2-1 lead in the 56th minute on an assist from Selena West. Indiana (Pa.) scored its third and final goal less than a minute later on a shot by Ericka Griffith at 56:17 that gave the Crimson Hawks the decisive tally.
